Ryan Adams - Easy Tiger

Ryan Adams has released (or is about to) his latest album Easy Tiger. With only a few listens under my belt I am unsure of the impact that this particular album will have. It seems to lack any real punch and so far only a few songs stand out at all. Ryan Adams can be hit or miss. I am a huge fan of his prolific songwriting and the style of which he is a master (Alt. Country). There are few modern equals who can match his prolific songwriting and even fewer in his age bracket. Ryan is playing this one with his backing band The Cardinals and according to one rumor he even tried to ditch the solo heading and call the album Easy Tiger by The Cardinals but was shut down by his label.

There are a few songs that seem to stick out including the opening track Goodnight Rose but so far no one track is worth noting as of yet. I will give it a week and a few more listens before I make up my mind and will certainly update you with any worthwhile tunes.
