The Bellrays

Take a belting beauty and put her in front of a hard-rockin’ band along the lines of Grand Funk Railroad mix in the blues with a dash of punk and throw is some serious class and you have the beginnings of The Bellrays. I have heard amazing things about this band being a truely spectacular live act but it wasnt until the other day that I got a hold of their studio work did I personally become hooked and a fan.
The band is a classic rock set up - 2 Guitars, Bass, Drums and a lead singer. The fall back to the seventies is obvious with the hardness that their rhythm section throws. Hailing from Riverside California - home of Ben Harper and a lot of dust. The Bellrays are currently on a European adventure of which I am sure they are kicking ass. The music rotates from a mild R&B chill of Lost Disciples style to a kick you in the head and stomp on your teeth song like Detroit Breakdown. I am really diggin’ their album Have A Little Faith. The Bellrays kick some serious ass and I cannot wait to see them for myself. In the meantime check out their style for yourself.
